March Against Tyranny
On Saturday, October 18, Americans across the country will rise together for No Kings Day 2.0 — a national day of action to say once and for all, in this nation, there are no kings. Power belongs to the people. Here in Wichita, Leading Kansas will add our voices and our footsteps with a March Against Tyranny.
Gathering Point: Old Sedgwick County Courthouse, 510 N Main St (ample parking in garage across the street)When: 11:00 AM — we’ll march down Broadway togetherDestination: The No Kings Day Rally at Douglas & Broadway (starting at noon)
Why march?
Because we want to do our part to ensure that this day of action is as impactful as possible. Our democracy is under attack — from executive overreach to assaults on free speech, voting rights, and the rule of law.
On October 18th, we will stand shoulder to shoulder, Kansans united with Americans across the nation, to say there are no kings in America. Bring your resolve. Bring your courage. Bring your voice. Together, we will march, we will rally, and we will lead.
